Foundresses Week

The Sisters of Notre Dame came together to help the less fortunate all around the world. Two of the main Sisters  St. Julie Billiart and Françoise Blin de Bourdon are two very different persons but come together for a great cause. Françoise was a wealthy women and an aristocrat The French revolutionaries imprisoned and guillotined the king and the queen. Then they began executing members of the aristocracy and the clergy. Francoise was imprisoned and awaiting execution.
